I just marked each mosquito bite with a pen mark and counted them as I went.
My left leg has 72 bites.
My right leg has 78 bites.
That's right. 150 effing mosquito bites on my legs/feet. WTF?

Mosquitoes Suck
I went up to my friends brother's house up in Kaysville again to make wands a full week ago. When we were there, there were a couple of mosquitoes flying around, but I decided that they were tolerable, especially since they weren't everywhere. My friend offered me some Off! so I could keep them from bugging me. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt, shorts and flip flops and thought that they would leave me alone, and if I noticed more of them, I would put it on.
These mosquitoes had to have been in ninja mode, because I didn't see or feel a single one bite me, I only saw a couple flying around my face, and trust me, I was constantly checking my legs because I didn't want to be getting bites.
Boy, am I an idiot for not using the off. I have lost HOURS of sleep over this, so I'm tired. They got me on my toes, on my Achilles tendon, all over my feet and calves.
See the pictures below. These pictures are from a FULL WEEK after the bites took place.
I am miserable.

Well, crap...
So, Trisha and I have been trying to do some spring cleaning and de-junking. We never really got our 2nd bedroom set up how we want and stuff kept piling up in there. It's really been a struggle trying to organize that room, especially since Trisha has been sick a lot, and pregnant. Not to mention that I've been lazy.. ;) Well, lazy and really exhausted lately. Hrmm.. We'll get to that...
I decided to take some initiative and clean where I could. I feel as though I'm finally getting into some good habits of cleaning. As a part of this spring cleaning, we decided to move our bedroom furniture around. I was getting ready to move the bed after I vacuumed part of the bedroom floor where we wanted to move the bed. I walked around the edge of the bed and started to lean over. I felt a twinge in my lower back, and I collapsed onto the bed. I felt as though I had been stabbed in my lower back. A few minutes later I worked my way back to my feet, but I knew that something was wrong. I had tweaked my back pretty bad. I continued to move the bed by pushing it into place with my legs.
After I was done with that, I had to lay down for most of the rest of the day because my back hurt so much. I was laid out all day Sunday and Monday as well. Sitting up, standing, walking, or rolling over while laying down was killer. No fun. Trisha, thankfully, has a prescription for Lortab. I took a couple of those to tide me over until I got to the doctor. I was unable to sleep well any of those nights because I move a lot in my sleep and whenever I move, my back screamed at me, and it woke me up. On Monday night, I had a bowl of low carb ice cream shortly after taking my sleeping medicine and another dose of Lortab. I was so tired and drained from the lack of sleep and the narcotics that I fell asleep sitting up on the couch with my hand laying in my unfinished bowl of ice cream. Lovely.
On Tuesday (after another missed day of work), I went to the Doctor to see what could be done about my back. He thinks that I just strained my back, which is not uncommon. I told him that the past few weeks I've been pretty drained before my back problem even came up. I told him that I had a bit of a sore throat as well and was concerned that I had mono. They took a blood test which just came back today (Thursday).
That's right. I have effing mono.
Boo!
That is all for now.

On a down note...
Prior to purchasing our condo, I checked and re-checked what utilities were included in our HOA fee. I was told (and re-told) that our electricity was included. About 2 months ago I got a note on my door saying that my electricity was going to be cut off because there was "no applicant on file." I was confused as to what that meant and just assumed it was a mistake. About a month ago I got another note on my door. This time I decided to verify (again) with my HOA that my electricity was covered. The lady I spoke with was not 100% sure but she thought that it was included. She said she would check with the HOA president and call me back if she was mistaken.
I never received a call back so I assumed that I was ok. I assumed wrong apparently.
Thank heaven that I was home today waiting for the swamp cooler. Rocky mountain power came to shut off my electricity. I answered and the tech told me if I called right now he wouldn't shut it off. So I did.
And they back-billed me to march 1. I now owe 300 dollars.
Lame.

So sore...
Last night was game 2 for our work softball rec league. It happened to be the first game that I was able to attend. I barely did anything during the enture game, but I'm still very sore. I gotta get back in shape (or rather, get in a shape that isn't so round). I played catcher for 2 innings, and couldn't catch the ball worth anything. Thank heavens they you can't steal bases in rec softball. Whenever a pitch would come in, (usually to the right of the plate) I'd scoot over to get it, but the ump was standing to the right of me, not behind me, so I kept running into him and the ball would go all the way back to the back-stop.
I got to go up for bat twice as well. I got 2 singles which resulted in 1 RBI and 1 run. The 2nd time I was on base, I had someone else run for me (thank heaven). We still got our butts kicked though. We lost 14-6.
